Performers sometimes step in to “supergreet,” Disney speak for assisting guests, running errands related to operational needs, and helping to keep the parks looking pristine. We noticed a lack of structure in the supergreeter day was leading to wasted time and frustrated cast members. I was tasked with developing a program that would use supergreeters efficiently and effectively. I spent several days walking the park, observing the movement of guests, and soliciting feedback from the performers who had been serving as supergreeters. This deck is the resulting program, presented to entertainment leadership with my own additional speaker notes.
